Weight Loss Workout – My Favorite Abdominal Workout
When I have to do some abdominal workout exercises that I like to do for a short period of time like my biceps workout. I train my abs at least twice a week so that I can make sure that my abdominal muscles fully recovered from my last workout. My abs workout is only about fifteen minute long because I like to make the intensity high and keep it going. Having only a little time to rest between set.
I never do similar abdominal workout in each week. Therefore each abdominal workout is different and it will not make me bored on having the same workout every time. Getting bored with a workout may sometimes make us lazy and may result on quitting the workout program.
Monday Workout
- Inclined bench sit ups. Remember that you need to stretch at the bottom of the movement or when you are on a lying position and when you are on the top make sure to squeeze the abdominal muscles. Do this abdominal workout for about two to three sets and in ten to fifteen counts.
- Inclined sit-up, bench is reversed with leg raise. Lay on the inclined bench with your hands and slow raise the legs to have the abdominal workout and lift your bum of the bench as high as you can. Do these two abdominal exercises about three to four times with ten to fifteen counts without having any rest in between the sets.
- Side bends obliquely. Get a dumb bell (the weight depends on you) and do it about ten to fifteen counts for three to four cycles also.
Thursday Workout
- Do machine crunches. Do this exercise together with the exercise below.
- Leg raise with the leg being hanged at the end of the bench.
- Do Side bends with the cable machine. Do not forget that when doing side bends only move the upper body and do not push your hips when side bending.
This weight loss workout will really be effective as long as you do it in a proper way. Never overwork your muscle to have a much better result.
