Should You Advertise on Google?

Making money with Google seems to be the number one priority online today. Is it because Google is such a huge household name? Or could it possibly have anything to do with the fact that people have claimed to make fortunes off of Google? While these claims can certainly be disputed and challenge, there is a certain air of intrigue to them as well. After all, someone out there must have made a living off of Google Adsense. Otherwise, why keep posting advertisements saying that you can?

It’s not often noted, but people do purchase ad space for ads to be displayed on Google. How else would they get there? A lot of those ads are for home businesses, and people find various methods of training that will allow them to properly master how to word those ads so that people will feel compelled to click on them.

As you can probably guess, this can help your business tremendously, but first you’ll have to find the funds to advertise on Google. You’ll learn quickly that bidding on how much you’ll pay to have your keywords displayed will tire out your budget. You can get started for as little as $30, but that will quickly dissipate in two to three days. That means you’ll need at least $300 to advertise on Google Adsense for an entire month.

It sounds expensive, but most people look at it like an investment. If you want your business to work, you have to invest in advertising. Some people will insist on cutting corners, saying “Don’t waste your time and submit your site to Google. I know of a cheaper way to gain traffic and exposure for your site.” You should always be cautious of claims like this. All of us have been told that we get what we pay for. In this case, it’s true; if you pay $5 for a service, don’t expect thousands of dollars worth the results to come from it.
