Please Use A Bathroom Fan In Your Restroom

bathroom-fanHave you ever been in a situation where you think to yourself “I sure wish there was a bathroom fan in here”? I know I have. Indeed, I have been in that very situation many times, unfortunately. The restroom should be a place of privacy so that we don’t have to feel self conscious about our bodily functions, and the sometimes inevitable and embarrassing noises that occur while preforming them. For a number of people it is tough to produce in a dead quiet environment where the every sound of bodily functions reverberates against the quiet in a deafening way. Without a fan to help clear the air after certain visits the smell alone can can a very embarrassing effect.

There are a number of other very good reasons to have a bathroom fan in your home restroom, of course. It can help to cut down on humidity in environments where it is a significant factor, and in the process add some years of life to your drywall that won’t be ruined from the excess humidity. Cutting down on humidity can also decrease the risk of dangerous mold taking hold within your homes walls. A good bathroom exhaust fan will also help to increase the air quality within your house. Better air quality can help in reducing allergy related issues and other air borne germs. Because of this it can also help to protect you and your family’s health.

Even though it may not appear that you need one in your home, when you think about it, it will make everyone more comfortable (both inside the bathroom and outside the bathroom). Plus, as I’ve talked about, there are some real health benefits you can receive from using them. I find it tough to understand why anyone wouldn’t have a working one installed their home. I don’t see what point of view anyone could argue as a legitimate reason not to use one in their restroom. And, even if they could find a reason that was somewhat reasonable, I’m pretty sure that they couldn’t convince me. I mane, really, do you want to listen to and possibly imagine, based on what you hear, someone actually using the restroom? Unless you are a really twisted type person, who gets their jollies from something so crazy that the only place you could see it would be the Internet, you would have to answer no to that question. So if you don’t already have one installed, please install a bathroom fan, for every-one’s peace of mind, keeping their dignity intact, and to save all of our olfactory senses .
