Cloudy apple juice (made from apples juiced with their skins on) is very effective for lowering LDL cholesterol levels and promoting overall heart health. Beet juice is excellent for promoting stamina for exercise according to a study conducted at Northumbria university, UK. Carrot juice is the “eye juice”. Carrots really do help you see in the dark because of their beta-carotene content but carrot juice is even higher in beta-carotene than the whole fruit. A juicing machine breaks free more of the beta-carotene from the tough fibers in carrots so that we can actually digest more. Beta-carotene stops us from going night blind because it converts into a chemical pigment in the eye called rhodopsin that is necessary for us to see in the dark.

Celery juice is one of the best natural remedies for high blood pressure. Celery contains antioxidants that helps the muscles of the artery walls to relax and therefore ease high blood pressure levels.

Orange juice (and other citrus juice like grapefruit and lemon) are great for protecting us from atherosclerosis. Vitamin C protects the arteries from oxidative damage that leads to a hardening and thickening of the arteries.
